Mandurah Hands on Trial Flights Available from Murrayfield Airfield, in a Cessna 152, with an expert Instructor beside you, you will taxi out to the runway, pilot the aircraft during take off and actually fly! Live your dream and feel the exhilaration as you take the controls and experience flight from the pilot seat. This is not just a joy flight – this is considered your very first lesson! Your Airline Pilot in a 747 started the same way. It all begins with your pre-flight briefing. Your Instructor will explain the aircraft controls, and outline the fundamentals of piloting a light aircraft. You will taxi the aircraft out onto the runway, pilot it during take off and fly! Your Trial Introductory Flight is your very first entry into your Pilot Log Book if you choose to continue to fly so it could well be the start of a life long love or even a career. This is an experience not to be missed. 45 and 60 minute flights include optional Aerobatics Available 7 days per week from 8:00am to 5:00pm Closed Christmas and Boxing Day, Good Friday and New Years Weather This experience is weather dependent. The experience providers will not fly in the event of rain, low cloud or strong winds. It is advised that you call the day of the flight to check conditions. On the day, should the flight not be possible, you will be rescheduled for a later date. Dress Code Participants must wear closed in shoes and sunglasses. Guidelines There is a minimum age of 13 years for all participants and a maximum weight of 115kg. Some individuals may be more comfortable in a larger aircraft. Please speak to our Operations Staff for more information. Please note this may affect the cost of the flight. Terms and Conditions Participant name and address is required by law. This flight record will be the first entry to go towards a full pilot’s licence if you wish to pursue a pilot training program.
