Timed Circuit Competition Murrayfield

Sunday, 11 September 2022 

The Timed Circuit consists of a nominated time in minutes and seconds for a single Circuit by the pilot/competitor from “Rolling Start” to “First Touch Down”.This is similar to the “Fastest Circuit Comp” however, this is a different race against the clock, with the Pilot/Competitor competing against themselves as to the accuracy of their estimates. Your estimated time will be nominated by you in the bottom left-hand corner of the score sheet and the Air Judge will  not advise if you are ahead, behind or on time with your estimate, whilst in the Air.

The timer is started by the Air Judge at the start of your Take-off roll.
The timer is stopped on first touchdown (bounces not included) by the Air Judge.
As with most, if not all Circuit Competitions, points will be scored on your circuit competency as well as  bonus points for spot landing as well. These will however, make up a lesser amount of your score. 
If, due to traffic, your circuit is interrupted (by ATC), you can nominate a PAUSE TIME and a RE-START TIME with the Air Judge.
The overall Comp winner will be the Competitor with the highest score.
