It’s on again! Another fantastic flyaway planned for September and this time to the birthplace of our national carrier Qantas. Our destination is Longreach in the heartland of outback Queensland.
At Longreach you will be visiting two world class museums – the Qantas Founders Museum and the Australian Stockmen’s Hall of Fame. You can also ride in a galloping Cobb & Co stagecoach or gently cruise along the Thomson River while being surrounded by the timeless landscape that inspired Australia’s iconic bush poets.
Our journey to and from Longreach will also take us through some iconic locations such as Coober Pedy, Birdsville, and Ayres Rock/Uluru!
We will provide more details on stopovers, group dinners etc over the coming months as details are worked out. In the meantime, please register and pay the $200 per aircraft registration fee which covers sundry expenses such as transport to/from airports etc.
If you have any questions, please contact either the RACWA Club Captain (Haydn.Vernon@gemcorail.com.au) or RACWA President (ray@challen.com.au).
Thank you for your registration and we look forward to enjoying yet another fantastic flyaway.
